I am a retired commercial fisherman beginning in this industry building commercial fishing boats beside my father, Duke Adams. While growing up here in Crescent City, I began commercial fishing at the age of 14, continuing to fish through high school and the remainder of my career.
During my fishing career I traveled by commercial boats up and down the West Coast harbors from Mexico to the top of the Aleutian Chain. Because I have traveled broadly, I have been able to identify which harbors are successful and which are not, allowing me the opportunity to bring this knowledge to Crescent City Harbor.
I have always been passionate about spending time on the water and continue to sport fish. I am on my boat at every opportunity, speaking with other fisherman daily about their concerns and interests.
Because of my boating and fishing background, I am well versed in the challenges faced by current harbors, fishermen, and the community. With this knowledge I will be able to assist the current harbor commissioners to grow our community.
